Eugenol Terpene Isolate by Cibiday

This UV-protected bottle contains 10 ml undiluted Eugenol Terpene Isolate, a light yellow liquid that smells like cloves.

As eugenol can be found in high quantities in cloves, these are the main plant source for isolating this terpene. It can be found in many other plant species as well, such as cinnamon, dill, basil, nutmeg, vanilla, bay leaf, lemon balm and Japanese star anise. 

Some uses for Eugenol

Eugenol has many uses. In the essential oil of cloves, it has long been used for pain relief in case of toothache. In this case, the oil provides pain relief when applied around the inflamed tooth. It is also used to sedate fish for scientific research, as it relaxes them and makes them easier to handle.

In dentistry eugenol is also an ingredient in the cement used to seal root canal treatments, together with zinc oxide.

This terpene is a common ingredient in perfumes and massage oils as well and can be found in the terpene profiles of many cannabis strains.

Although it can be found in many weed strainds, eugenol always occurs in low levels. You can use this undiluted terpene isolate as a supplement in cannabinoid extracts such as THC- and CBD oil, or when vaping or smoking concentrates or weed buds. How to safely handle and use Eugenol Terpene Isolate

• This bottle of terpene isolate contains 10 ml undiluted eugenol
• Never ingest indulited terpenes! Always dilute them to 1-2% of the liquid in which it is mixed and never take the entire bottle in one dose
• Caution: eugenol is poisonous in high doses! It is hepatotoxic in very high doses, which means it can damage the liver. The symtoms of this condition are diarrhoea, nausea, dizzyness, palpitations, blood in urine, convulsions and loss of conciousness
• Eugenol can trigger allergic reactions in some people. Always test this product in small dosages, on the skin for example. When allergic, a contact eczema will occur
• Don't use undiluted terpenes in poorly ventilated spaces, or in the presence of small children and pets
• Don't use terpenes when pregnant, or breastfeeding
• Store the bottle in a cool and dark place (2 to 8 °C), out of reach of children and pets
• Even though the bottle is made of dark glass which protects the content against UV-light, it is better to store it in a dark place
