Altough it is used in minimal quantities as a flavour and aroma additive in food in India, camphor is poisonous. The maximum allowed daily dose of this terpene is 2 mg per kilogram of body weight in the EU.

This substance is also known as an ingredient in mothballs, in campor oil for external use in cases of joint pain and fungal infections. Camphor oil creates a warm sensation when massaged into the skin and provides pain relief. 

How to safely handle and use Camphor Terpene Isolate

• This bottle of terpene isolate contains 10 ml undiluted camphor
• Never ingest indulited terpenes! Always dilute them to 1-2% of the liquid in which it is mixed and never take the entire bottle in one dose
• Camphor terpene isolate can be dangerous or even deadly when used internally. The maximum daily intake in the EU is limited to 2 mg per kilogram of body weight 
• Use sparingly in a well-ventilated space in aromatherapy. Camphor fumes are toxic in high concentrations and can lead to convulsions and problems in breathing
• Don't use undiluted terpenes in poorly ventilated spaces, or in the presence of small children and pets
• Don't use terpenes when pregnant, or breastfeeding
• Store the bottle in a cool and dark place (2 to 8 °C), out of reach of children and pets
• Even though the bottle is made of dark glass which protects the content against UV-light, it is better to store it in a dark place
