Haschisch DVD

Haschisch DVD ~ Based in small village high on top of the mountains of Ketama, north Morocco. Where life for the people hasn't changed for centuries. Their work is as farmers and producers of hashish.

Hashish is their everyday life, for them, hashish is a barter - currency, hashish is a business, hashish is a base and philosophy of a social system, hashish is also the medium for their dreams and hashish is a reason of the slow pace of life there. The film sketches a portrait of this life: Observations at the work and the everyday life in the family; music and scenery as a metaphysical projection screen; the drug; the search for freedom; and in the centre of the film the people.

DVD includes 10 minutes of Bonus material: Cut scenes, audio comment, backgrounds scenes.
